Location

Currarong is an easy 2 ½ hour drive from Sydney, and 3 hours from Canberra.

The small fishing village of Currarong has fewer than 400 houses, and is located at the entrance to the BeecroftPenninsular.

The Beecroft Peninsular has some of the largest cliffs in NSW & a wide variety of bush walks leading to stunning scenery. The Beecroft Peninsular is also the north head/entrance into Jervis Bay where you find some of the most beautiful pristine beaches in Australia.

Currarong has a general store, newsagent/post & Zacs seafood cafe. The nearest supermarkets are in Callala Bay and Culburra Beach. For most of the year you can also buy fabulous fresh oysters from the local fishermen in Greenwell Point.

From Breakaway it takes about 20 minutes to drive to Greenwell Point, 25 minutes to Nowra, 35 minutes to Berry, 15 minutes to Culburra Beach & 10 minutes to Callala Bay/Beach.

Finally, there is no heavy traffic through Currarong.
